Buffer Bashing is the 23rd episode of Season 5. It first aired on The Christmas Special! DVD.
Plot
It's nearly Winter, and Donald and Douglas are helping James to take ballast down to a new line project. However, snow and ice make the line slippery where Bear had been the night before and Donald crashes! Being "bufferless" his twin Douglas comes to help and just three days later Douglas has an accident at the very same spot and crashes into the new set of buffers, with James pulling the "bufferless" Douglas, Douglas goes to the works with his twin and with some red paint on his nose.
